success at a bash in Mumbai on October 7. Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor also came to cheer for the film, along with director Abhishek Pathak, actor Jaideep Ahlawat and the producers. The last outing in Bollywood's hit thriller franchise, released on October 2, has already emerged as a huge hit. The entire cast and crew met one last time to raise a toast to the film, which has turned out to be one of the biggest Hindi hits of 2026, crossing Rs 200 crore net in India and Rs 300 crore worldwide. Directed by Abhishek Pathak, Drishyam 3 is the culmination of the franchise that started in 2015 as a remake of Mohanlal-starrer Malayalam movie. The movie completed an impressive week at the box office, and the makers celebrated its successful theatrical run by cutting a celebratory cake and gathering to party.
Drishyam 3's success bash
At the success bash, in addition to the Salgaonkar family, the film's full cast and crew were also seen, including Jaideep Ahlawat, Kamlesh Sawant, who played Sub-Inspector Laxmikant Gaitonde, Rishab Chaddha, who played Sam, and Samvedna Suwalka. Ishita Dutta was flanked by heractor-husband Vatsal Sheth. Director Abhishek Pathak arrived with wife Shivaleeka Oberoi. Filmmakers Unni Mukundan, Indra Kumar, Aanand L Rai, and actors Aaman Devgn and Sheeba also came. The cast of Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar, which is set to release on October 23, 2026, made their presence felt too.
The highlight of the show, however, was the Kapoors due to their long-standing friendship with Ajay Devgn. Both Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor brought their swag to the event.
Drishyam 3 is a box office hit
Drishyam: The Conclusion had a good opening weekend, after releasing with Rs 62 crore on October 2. The film crossed the Rs 200 crore nett mark in India in five days, and its domestic nett collection stood at Rs 216.50 crore as of October 6, according to Sacnilk figures. The film has also crossed Rs 300 crore mark globally.
Ajay Devgn's career best opening
The success of the film is important for Ajay Devgn. Drishyam: The Conclusion had the best opening day of the actor's career at the box office, raking in Rs 62 crore on day one. Trade reports have also suggested that the audience response for the film has been strong and that it is one of the biggest Hindi theatrical hits of 2026.
The film also crossed four million ticket sales on BookMyShow in five days, including one million tickets sold on its opening day, indicating the strong advance and walk-in demand for the final instalment of the franchise.
