alongside Shanaya Kapoor. The film is produced by Aanand L Rai under Colour Yellow Productions. An official remake of the acclaimed 2018 Thai thriller The Pool, Tu Yaa Main arrived in theatres on February 13 alongside Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri's O Romeo. Unfortunately, the film did not find many takers in theatres and proved to be a box office flop. But now, Tu Yaa Main is headed to one of the biggest streaming platforms in the world, giving home audiences a chance to finally catch it.
Tu Yaa Main To Stream On Netflix
Netflix had acquired the digital streaming rights for Tu Yaa Main. As per reports, the film will start streaming on the platform from April 10, 2026, after an eight-week exclusive theatrical run. However, an official announcement it still awaited about the release date.
Tu Yaa Main follows two content creators from vastly different socio-economic backgrounds, Maruti Kadam, also known as Aala Flowpara, played by Adarsh Gourav, a rapper based in Nalasopara, and Avani Shah, also known as Ms Vanity, played by Shanaya Kapoor, a high-profile influencer.
The two get trapped in an empty but deep swimming pool with a dangerous crocodile. The rest of the story focuses on their desperate fight for survival. Netflix subscribers will be able to watch Tu Yaa Main at no extra cost once the streaming date goes live.
Adarsh Gaurav On Tu Ya Main OTT Release
Adarsh Gourav recently spoke about the upcoming OTT premiere of Tu Yaa Main. He said that movies such as these get a second life when they begin to stream online. The actor hopes that Tu Yaa Main will finally find its due audience when it arrives on Netflix.
Earlier, speaking to Zoom about Tu Yaa Main, Adarsh had shared, "It is based on something that's existing, but it's also been very intelligently adapted and written and developed by Bejoy (Nambiar) and Abhishek (Bandekar). Those who have seen both have come and told me that it's not like the original, so I feel like it's important that people give it a chance and watch."
Adarsh, who first rose to global fame with The White Tiger, once again delivered a performance that was widely appreciated. Shanaya Kapoor, on the other hand, also received appreciation for her role as a popular influencer dealing with both public image and fear.
