Vijay Deverakonda has officially confirmed that his much-awaited period action drama Ranabaali, co-starring Rashmika Mandanna, has been postponed from
its previously scheduled September 11 release date. The actor took to social media to announce the film’s new release date, putting an end to speculation surrounding its theatrical arrival. Ranabaali is still listed among the upcoming films on ticketing platform BookMyShow, with September 11 mentioned as its release date. However, the latest update from Vijay makes it clear that audiences will have to wait a little longer to watch the film on the big screen. Taking to Instagram, Vijay Deverakonda shared a new poster for the film and announced that Ranabaali will now release worldwide on October 16, 2026. Sharing the update, the actor wrote, “This Oct 16. Worldwide in Cinemas near you. Ranabaali.” The film’s official X account also confirmed the postponement and revealed the new date. The post read, “The darkest chapter of our history opens this October. Ranabaali GRAND RELEASE WORLDWIDE ON 16.10.26 NeverForget RanabaaliOnOct16th.” With the new announcement, Ranabaali has moved nearly five weeks from its earlier September 11 release date. The makers appear to be positioning the film as a major worldwide theatrical release in October, while the newly unveiled poster and messaging further emphasize its dark and intense period setting.
