Genelia reveals her birthday plans
In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Genelia Deshmukh has mentioned her birthday plans for today as she said, "There are no plans as such. I just finished a schedule with Ramu sir (Ram Gopal Varma) right now for a film co-starring Manoj Bajpayee. I am heading back now to Mumbai. So, I guess it’ll be a quiet day. Also, Ritiesh (Riteish Deshmukh) isn’t in town."

Genelia says THIS on sharing her birthday with Kajol
On being asked about her feelings on sharing the day with Kajol, she said, "She’s someone I have admired while growing up. I remember the first time I realized that we share the same birthday, I felt even more special as an actor because she’s a fabulous performer (laughs). Of course, you can’t expect to be born on the same day and expect to be Kajol. And she knows that my birthday falls on August 5. Whenever we meet now, we tell each other, ‘Happy Birthday for the 5th’ (laughs)!"

Riteish took to his Instagram handle to wish his 'baiko' on her special day as he wrote, "Today isn’t just your birthday — it’s a reminder of how lucky I am to walk through life with you. You are so many things in one incredible woman: the one who makes me laugh when I least expect it, the best mother our children could ever ask for, a daughter who leads with love and respect, and a friend who shows up — always.”
