Diljit Dosanjh exists the much-anticipated sequel of 2005 release No Entry, also starring Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor. The actor-singer was set to start
filming for the film in October 2025, but has now opted out. The film is set to be directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Boney Kapoor. Reports claim that the reason behind his decision to step back is his upcoming tour.
Reason behind Diljit Dosanjh's exit from No Entry 2 revealed
As per reports by Peeping Moon, "Diljit’s packed touring schedule was becoming a challenge for the No Entry team. The film requires extensive planning for its massive sequel, and unfortunately, Diljit’s dates just couldn’t align. Given these constraints, both sides have amicably and mutually decided to part ways."
For the unversed, Diljit Dosanjh is set to commence his upcoming Aura Tour in Australia and New Zealand. The tour will start from October 26 till November 13.

When Salman Khan was 'very protective' of No Entry female co-stars
Last week during an interview, actress Celina Jaitley recalled that Salman Khan was 'very protective' of all the female co-stars during the shoot of the film No Entry. She said, "Salman brought a very different energy altogether. He was incredibly busy at the time, often juggling two other films alongside No Entry in Mauritius itself, yet he was a lot of fun and very protective about the girls, which was always reassuring."
Boney Kapoor expresses disappointment on not being able to retain original star-cast
During an event recently, Boney Kapoor expressed that he is disappointed of not being able to re-cast the OG actors of the film, Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan. He explained, "Yeh humara loss hai that we could not retain the same star cast. We waited for almost 8–10 years but somehow things didn’t happen. We will miss them. And now we are trying to give a fresh start with a younger lot of actors. But at the same time, we will miss Salman, we will miss Anil and Fardeen. They were the original three boys in No Entry. And they were most loved."
More details about the project are yet to be unveiled.
