Priyanka revisits her Kaminey casting story
At the time, Priyanka was shooting Dostana in Miami with Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham, when she saw a missed call from Bhardwaj. "What?? I had wanted to work with him forever and never thought he would cast me because of my ‘commercial’ image at the time," she wrote.
The director flew to Miami to narrate the story to her. Priyanka remembered telling him, “Well, she has approximately 8 scenes.” Bhardwaj assured her, “With us working on it, it will end up being so much more. Trust me.” She agreed, admitting she was 'just greedy' to collaborate with the acclaimed filmmaker. Vishal, on the other hand, promised he would make something incredible for her after this in appreciation for doing the part and a few years later, the duo got together for 7 Khoon Maaf.
