What's Happening?
ONF has initiated a unique comeback week for their second full-length album, 'ONF: MY SELF', with a three-part special stage series. This event, held from June 18 to 20, was designed to mimic a music-show pre-recording, offering fans a behind-the-scenes
experience. Each day featured different concepts, starting with the title track 'Open the Door', showcasing the group's vocal and choreographic prowess. The series also marked ONF's first major activity under their new agency, KI Entertainment, and served as a reconnection with their fanbase, FUSE. The album continues the narrative from their previous work, 'MY IDENTITY', focusing on dreamers choosing their paths.
Why It's Important?
This comeback is significant for ONF as it represents their first major project since transitioning to KI Entertainment. The special stage series not only highlights their artistic capabilities but also strengthens their relationship with fans by providing an intimate look at their performances. This approach could set a precedent for other K-pop groups in terms of fan engagement and content delivery. Additionally, the album's thematic continuation from 'MY IDENTITY' reinforces ONF's narrative consistency, potentially attracting new listeners and retaining existing fans.
