The Montana State volleyball team is gearing up for the 2026 season with a series of preseason contests. Under the leadership of head coach Matt Houk, now in his fourth season, the team will host the annual Blue-Gold Scrimmage on August 11 at Shroyer
Gym, which is open to the public. This event marks the beginning of their preseason activities, followed by an exhibition match against South Dakota Mines on August 15 in Billings. The official season will commence with a two-day tournament at Lafayette University starting August 29, where the team will face Delaware and Marist. The Bobcats' home opener is scheduled for September 10 against North Dakota State. The team, consisting of 11 returning players and five newcomers, is eager to showcase their skills and improvements.
