Austin Peay State University (APSU) alumnus Larry W. Carroll ('76) has made a significant gift to establish the Carroll Entrepreneurship Center at the university. This new center, housed within APSU's College of Business, will serve as a university-wide
and community-facing hub dedicated to fostering innovation, supporting new venture creation, and strengthening the regional economy. The center will be located at The Press, a collaborative workspace in downtown Clarksville, providing it with a dedicated office suite and access to business amenities. The investment ensures a five-year runway for staffing, programming, and facility renovation without requiring new university funds at launch. Carroll, a senior vice president and senior consultant with Wealth Enhancement Group, founded Carroll Financial Associates in 1980, which was acquired in 2021. He has been recognized on Forbes’ lists of top wealth advisors.
