What's Happening?
At the Farnborough International Airshow 2026, Honeywell Aerospace introduced its International Tactical Advanced Land Inertial Navigator (iTALIN) 550 system for ground vehicles. This new system is an upgrade from the existing TALIN 500, offering improved
navigation and enhanced alignment capabilities. Developed in collaboration with Civitanavi Systems in Italy, the iTALIN 550 features advanced technologies such as fibre optic gyro (FOG) technology, dual antenna, precise point positioning (PPP), and real-time kinematic (RTK) positioning. The system is designed to operate effectively in GPS-denied environments, with anti-jamming and anti-spoofing capabilities.
