Anton Paar has introduced the Brabender TwinLab B-TSE-S 30/40, a new twin-screw extruder designed for pilot-scale extrusion. This machine is capable of processing up to 100 kg/h, bringing laboratory-grade process understanding to pilot-scale production.
The extruder is compact, featuring an integrated drive suitable for tight pilot environments, and operates with co-rotating twin screws driven by 39 kW, reaching speeds up to 1,200 rpm. It is designed to handle process conditions of up to 450 °C and 300 bar. The extruder includes a clamshell barrel for easy access and maintenance, and detachable liner inserts for quick changes, minimizing cross-contamination. The device is equipped with an integrated engineering interface for flexible configuration and is supported by MetaBridge software for process visibility and control.
