What's Happening?
Rayonier Inc. has announced the appointment of Ryan Daniels as the Senior Vice President of Wood Products. Daniels, who has been serving as the Interim Senior Vice President since March 2026, brings extensive industry experience to the role. Prior to this,
he was the Senior Vice President of Operations for the Wood Products business at Rayonier. His career includes leadership roles at PotlatchDeltic Corporation, Hood Industries, Coastal Forest Resources Company, Weyerhaeuser Company, and Georgia-Pacific LLC. Daniels holds degrees in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arkansas. Rayonier, a real estate investment trust, manages over four million acres of timberland in the U.S. and is committed to sustainable land management and climate change mitigation.
Why It's Important?
The appointment of Ryan Daniels is significant as it comes at a time when Rayonier is focusing on operational excellence and environmental stewardship. His leadership is expected to drive the Wood Products division towards achieving these goals. The merger between Rayonier and PotlatchDeltic earlier this year has positioned the company to leverage synergies and enhance its market position. Daniels' experience in large-scale wood products manufacturing is likely to contribute to Rayonier's strategic objectives, including optimizing its timberland portfolio and supporting climate change initiatives.
