Rockland Resources has announced a significant discovery of a high-grade gold vein at its Cole Gold Mines project located in Ontario's Red Lake district. The recent drilling program revealed a gold vein with an impressive yield of 16.89 grams per tonne
over a 4-meter section. This discovery includes higher-grade zones, such as 10.90 grams per tonne over 1 meter and 28.40 grams per tonne over 2 meters. The drilling confirmed the presence of a gold-bearing quartz vein system that was initially explored between 1933 and 1937, and it identified new veins below the deepest underground level at the 530-foot mark. The company is utilizing a combination of standard fire assay and metallic screen analysis to address the coarse-gold effect, with results from additional samples pending.
