Kroger has announced an expansion of its long-standing fuel rewards program to help customers save on groceries as well as fuel. Traditionally, the program allowed customers to save money at the pump, but now, Kroger members can redeem up to 1,000 fuel points
per day to receive a $10 discount on their grocery bill, applicable both in-store and online. This initiative comes as grocery prices continue to rise across the United States. Megan Shaffer, Kroger's group vice president of customer growth and strategy, expressed excitement about providing customers with more options to stretch their budgets. The points can be tracked and redeemed through the Kroger app, and while there is no limit to the number of points that can be earned, they do expire at the end of the month following their accrual.
