Lockheed Martin has unveiled the PAC-3 Adapted Capability Effector (ACE), a new air and missile defense interceptor designed to provide a more affordable option for allied militaries. The PAC-3 ACE is intended to cost less than half the price of the currently
fielded PAC-3 MSE interceptor, which is approximately $4 million per missile according to U.S. Army budget documents. The new system is built upon the existing PAC-3 fire control structure and integrates with the Patriot weapon system and the U.S. Army’s Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS).
