RunBlogRun has initiated its annual Summer Mileage Program, aimed at preparing high school cross-country runners for the upcoming fall season. The program, which began on June 22, 2026, is now in its fifth week and provides daily training suggestions
to athletes and coaches. The initiative is designed to build endurance and consistency through a structured regimen that includes long runs, hill workouts, and tempo days. RunBlogRun emphasizes the importance of proper hydration, appropriate footwear, and physical readiness, encouraging athletes to undergo annual physicals. The program is widely distributed to over 46,000 cross-country coaches across the United States, supporting the training of more than 587,000 high school runners.
