Uber Technologies, Inc. and Zipline have announced a strategic partnership aimed at significantly expanding drone delivery services across the United States. This collaboration will integrate Zipline's autonomous drone technology into Uber Eats, allowing
customers to receive orders in minutes. The first deployments are scheduled to begin later this year in existing Zipline markets, with plans to expand into dozens of U.S. cities.
