Cisco, AMD, and Saudi AI startup HUMAIN have officially launched an AI compute platform in Saudi Arabia, marking a significant step in the region's transition from AI investment to deployment. This platform, which has commenced commercial operations,
utilizes AMD Instinct MI355X accelerators and is delivered through a GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) model to customers in Saudi Arabia and neighboring regions. The infrastructure integrates AMD Instinct MI355X GPUs, EPYC server processors, and Cisco's Silicon One networking silicon architecture, specifically leveraging Cisco N9000 series switches and 800G optical interconnect technology to create a high-speed network optimized for AI.
