Aptar Beauty has partnered with L'Occitane-En-Provence to develop a custom dispensing pump for L'Occitane's updated hand care line. This new pump is designed to fit the redesigned 350ml and 500ml glass and plastic bottles, which are now refillable and reusable.
The pump, based on Aptar Beauty's Satine platform, features a 24/410 screw-on neck finish and delivers a 500-microlitre dose for precise and clean use. Its actuator and collar have been enlarged to accommodate the broader bottle shape, making it easier to use, including for individuals with limited hand mobility. The pump is finished in black to match the rest of the product range and includes a system to keep it aligned with the bottle when unlocked. Production of the pump is based in France, with molding and decoration in Oyonnax and final assembly in Le Neubourg. Aptar Beauty delivered the finished product in less than a year, emphasizing a co-creation approach that leverages technical expertise and manufacturing synergies to support brand differentiation and product inclusivity, according to Aptar Beauty EMEA Custom sales director Benjamin Girard. This initiative follows Aptar's recent introduction of NeoDropper Autoload in collaboration with Dermalogica.
