The Pitt Community College (PCC) Music Department is organizing a talent show competition, 'Pitt County Has Talent,' to raise funds for student scholarships and educational activities. The event, scheduled for October 23-24, 2026, invites community members
to showcase their performance skills in categories such as vocal, instrumental, dance, and comedy. Participants will compete for cash prizes, with the first-place winner receiving $250, second place $100, and third place $75. A preliminary round, closed to the public, will take place on October 23, with selected performers advancing to the public competition on October 24 in the Eddie and Jo Allison Smith Center for Student Advancement’s Chris Smith Multipurpose Room. PCC Music and Drama Coordinator R. Michael Stephenson is encouraging talented individuals to participate and support the department's fundraising efforts.
