GROWMARK FS, a part of the larger GROWMARK System, is actively offering 'Exploring Agriculture Agronomy Operations Intern' positions across its service area, which includes New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. This agricultural
cooperative serves over 400,000 customers across North America and Ontario, Canada. The internship program, now in its 12th year, aims to provide hands-on experience in agronomy field and operations. Interns will assist with facility and equipment maintenance, visit FS locations and customers to build professional relationships, and operate field research and crop monitoring equipment. They will also gain experience in applying crop nutrition and protection products, as well as understanding ordering, receiving, and inventory control. The program is designed to help students explore career paths within the agricultural industry and develop professionally, with many past participants continuing their careers within the GROWMARK System. Applicants are required to be pursuing a degree or certification from a community college, technical college, or university and maintain good academic standing.
