What's Happening?
The Children's Museum of Wilmington in North Carolina is promoting its Community Membership program, which offers free museum memberships to local families. This initiative is part of the museum's annual Mission Month observance in August. The program partners
with child-serving nonprofit organizations, libraries, and Smart Start programs in New Hanover, Brunswick, and Pender counties to provide access to the museum for families who might otherwise face financial barriers. Each membership covers admission for two adults and up to six children, serving over 2,000 visitors annually. The museum is also hosting various events and programs throughout August to raise awareness and support for the initiative.
