Kemin Food Technologies, based in Des Moines, Iowa, has announced the addition of two new members to its North American sales team. Chad Mulcahy has been appointed as the senior sales manager for the bakery division, where he will focus on addressing
spoilage and quality challenges in commercial baking using Kemin's functional ingredient solutions. Mulcahy brings nearly 30 years of experience in food and bakery sales, having previously worked at Lesaffre Yeast Corp. Kaylie Semler joins as a technical sales manager for the Southwest territory, which includes Texas, New Mexico, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Missouri. Semler will focus on yield optimization and developing clean label solutions. Her background includes roles in compliance, producer programs, procurement, and technical support. Daniel Pompeu, sales director of Kemin Food Technologies in North America, emphasized the value these new team members bring in connecting customers with scientifically proven ingredients to improve food quality and extend shelf life.
