Space Microgravity Development (SpaceMD), a subsidiary of Redwire, has signed a contract for a dedicated mission on SpaceX's Starfall spacecraft. Scheduled for launch in 2028, the mission will carry up to 32 Pharmaceutical In-Space Laboratory (PIL-BOX)
experiment packages, making it the largest commercial microgravity research mission to date.
