Boehringer Ingelheim has signed an agreement to deploy Owkin's AI platform, K Pro, across its oncology and immunology research and development operations. This move follows a successful pilot assessment conducted last year, which utilized the $50 million
collaborative MOSAIC (Multi Omic Spatial Atlas In Cancer) dataset and provided deep spatial insights into the tumor microenvironment of a gene target. K Pro, an 'AI Scientist,' enables scientists and drug developers to analyze diverse medical data, including patient information, using plain language rather than complex computer code.
