OD6 Metals, an Australian critical minerals developer, has completed its registration with the U.S. Government’s System for Award Management. This registration positions the company to pursue federal funding opportunities for its Quinn Fluorspar Project
located in Nevada, U.S. Fluorspar is recognized on the U.S.'s final 2025 Critical Minerals List, highlighting its importance for economic, supply-chain, and national security objectives. The U.S. has been 100% net import reliant on fluorspar since 1995, with no significant domestic mine production reported. The U.S. Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) has identified fluorspar as a 'priority material' under an open Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) aimed at strengthening domestic strategic and critical mineral supply chains, specifically focusing on refining, processing, and beneficiation. OD6 Metals holds 100% ownership of 226 mining claims at Quinn, covering approximately 1,890 hectares, which contain over 20 fluorspar occurrences along an 8km mineralized corridor. The company is currently engaged in geological mapping, exploration permitting, environmental baseline studies, and metallurgical test work programs.
