Buenos Aires is set to host the 30th edition of the Feria Internacional de Turismo de América Latina (FIT) from September 26 to 29, 2026. Organizers are projecting this to be the largest FIT in its history, with expectations of over 20,000 square meters
of exhibition space, more than 350 exhibitors, and delegations from 60 countries. The Dominican Republic has been named the Guest Country, following a 120 percent increase in its tourists visiting Argentina. A significant new addition to FIT 2026 will be the first International Sports Tourism Forum, scheduled for September 29, co-organized by FIT, the City of Buenos Aires, and UN Tourism. This forum will explore the impact of major sporting events on destinations. The fair will also introduce new themed spaces such as FIT Tech, FIT Food & Market, FIT Outdoor, FIT Cruises, FIT Fashion & Travel, and FIT B2B, alongside traditional Business Rounds for industry professionals.
