football, and track teams. After high school, he married Darlene Bjerken and pursued a career in tile setting, a trade he learned from his uncle in Coral Gables, Florida. McArthur established McArthur Tile Co. in Detroit Lakes and Fargo, North Dakota, where he spent many successful years before retiring. Despite a divorce, he and Darlene reconnected in recent years, and she played a significant role in his care during his final days. McArthur is survived by his children, grandchildren, and siblings, and is remembered for his craftsmanship, love for family, and passion for woodworking and music.
