The Florida Panthers have announced the return of the Amerigol LATAM Cup for its eighth annual tournament, scheduled from August 1-9, 2026, at the Panthers IceDen in Coral Springs, Florida. This event is supported by the Florida Panthers, the NHL, and
the NHLPA through the Industry Growth Fund. The tournament aims to provide a platform for hockey players from Latin America, the Caribbean, South Asia, and other non-traditional hockey markets to showcase their talents. This year, the tournament will feature 68 teams and approximately 1,500 players from various countries, including Algeria, Argentina, Brazil, and more. The event will also include an inaugural Skills Competition and a Sled Hockey Showcase. The Florida Panthers Foundation has contributed $20,000 to support the event, highlighting their commitment to growing hockey in diverse communities.
