Dallas Woodrum has rejoined Akin as an international trade partner in Washington, D.C. Woodrum brings a wealth of experience in sanctions, regulatory development, policy, licensing, and civil enforcement. Previously, he served as the Assistant Director
for Regulatory Affairs at the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) within the U.S. Department of the Treasury. In this role, he was instrumental in developing regulations and general licenses and played a significant part in shaping sanctions provisions under the Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for U.S. Stablecoins (GENIUS) Act. His return to Akin is expected to bolster the firm's capabilities in international trade and regulatory compliance.
