Red Mountain Mining (ASX:RMX) has announced exceptional tungsten assay results from systematic rock chip sampling at its Pioneer Tungsten Project in Montana, U.S. The company collected 50 rock chip samples exceeding 500 parts per million (ppm) tungsten trioxide
(WO3), with 31 samples surpassing 1,000ppm. Peak results included 5,473ppm (0.55%) WO3 at Greenstone, 4,036ppm (0.40%) at Glow Worm, and 3,241ppm (0.32%) at Lost Creek. Additionally, sampling revealed significant copper (6.72%), silver (462 grams per tonne), and gold (3.88g/t) at the Greenstone and Glow Worm prospects. Red Mountain has expanded the project footprint to 517 hectares, more than doubling the original area, which shares geological similarities with Almonty Industries’ adjacent Gentung Tungsten deposit.
