Golightly & Long has inaugurated its ninth Acee’s convenience store, located in Fulton, Kentucky. This new 7,300-square-foot facility is notable for being the company's first 'mini travel center,' a departure from their typical 4,300 to 5,500 square-foot stores.
The location, which opened on May 12 with a grand celebration in August, is strategically positioned on the Tennessee border along the former Purchase Parkway, now being converted into Interstate 69. The site previously housed a Holiday Inn. The design, developed in collaboration with Fort Worth, Texas-based Paragon Solutions, includes 27 truck parking spaces, showers, laundry facilities, and a dedicated truck entrance separate from passenger vehicle parking. Inside, the store features an open sales floor, a red-and-navy Acee's color scheme, and a food service area with proprietary brands AC’s Chicken Fingers and Crazy Italian Pizza, alongside a Quiznos.
