Chin’s Xi’An Style Restaurant is set to open its third location in Fairfax City, Virginia, this August. The restaurant, known for its home-style regional Chinese foods inspired by Xi’An, will be located inside the 99 Ranch Market at 10780 Fairfax Blvd.
The Maryland-based company, founded by Landy Zhang during the pandemic, already has locations in Ellicott City, Maryland, and Jersey City, New Jersey. The restaurant specializes in hand-ripped noodles and other traditional dishes from Xi’An, the capital city of Shaanxi province in northwestern central China. Zhang started the business by making liangpi, a cold noodle dish, to cheer up friends during the pandemic. The Fairfax location will offer both takeout and seating options within the grocery store.
