(MOU), focuses on recycling nuclear materials and manufacturing advanced fuels. This initiative aims to utilize U.S. surplus plutonium and used nuclear fuel to produce feedstock for TRISO fuel manufacturing. The partnership aligns with U.S. government efforts to accelerate nuclear energy deployment and establish domestic supplies of critical nuclear materials. Oklo plans to develop a fuel recycling facility in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, to support this initiative, while Standard Nuclear will leverage the recycled materials for its TRISO fuel production.
