Keycafe, a cloud-based key management platform, is set to showcase its latest hotel solutions at HITEC North America 2026, the largest hospitality technology show, taking place in San Antonio. The company will demonstrate how its system replaces traditional
logbooks and lockboxes with automated key management, enhancing operational efficiency for hotels. Keycafe has introduced new integrations with Mews and Cloudbeds, two property management systems. The integration with Mews automates the guest key handover process, generating unique access codes for guests to pick up keys from a Keycafe SmartBox at any time. This system provides real-time access logs, allowing hotel teams to maintain control over operations. The Cloudbeds integration is currently in early trials, with interested hotels able to join an early access program. Keycafe's system is designed to streamline hotel workflows, offering a simple and efficient key retrieval process that requires minimal training.
