DE-CIX, a prominent Internet Exchange (IX) operator, has partnered with South Front Networks to enhance broadband connectivity for Internet Service Providers (ISPs) in the Upper Midwest. This collaboration aims to provide low-latency access to content,
including major gaming networks, through DE-CIX Chicago. South Front Networks' customers will benefit from cost-effective transport solutions, protected routes, and no additional cross-connect costs. The partnership leverages DE-CIX Chicago's extensive network, which connects over 80 networks and has experienced significant traffic growth. This initiative is part of South Front Networks' strategy to focus on the 'middle-mile' and provide efficient interconnect solutions across its network spanning from Peoria, Illinois, to Minneapolis, Minnesota.
