This partnership builds on previous collaborations between the two companies across Asia and the Middle East, including projects in the Philippines, India, Dubai, Nepal, and China.
Why It's Important?

This move is poised to strengthen Marriott's presence in the region, tapping into the growing demand for select-service accommodations that offer both quality and local character. The integration of Arro Khampa resorts into the Marriott portfolio also highlights a trend towards preserving local identity while leveraging global distribution networks. This development could enhance Marriott's competitive edge in the hospitality industry, offering a conversion-friendly option for existing hotel assets and expanding the reach of the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program.
What's Next?
As the first four Series by Marriott hotels are set to open by the end of 2026, the focus will likely be on ensuring successful launches and integrating the Arro Khampa properties into the Marriott system.
