Contour Airlines will re-establish daily nonstop jet service from Williamsport Regional Airport (IPT) to Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) starting October 19. This announcement marks the reconnection of the local airport to the global aviation
network, according to Executive Director Eric McKitish. The service will utilize regional jets reconfigured to carry 30 passengers, offering 38 inches of legroom per seat. The daily schedule includes a 6:15 a.m. departure from Williamsport, arriving in Charlotte at 8:10 a.m., and a 4:00 p.m. departure from Charlotte, arriving in Williamsport at 5:45 p.m. This new service follows the departure of American Airlines in 2021 and Southern Airways earlier this year, which had left the airport without commercial flights.
