What's Happening?
BAE Systems is progressing with the development of its Future Combat Air Demonstrator (FCAD), aiming for power-on in the latter half of 2027. The FCAD is a twin-engine, stealthy, supersonic aircraft designed to prepare UK industry for the Global Combat Air Program
(GCAP). The aircraft's components, including the fuselage and wings, are being manufactured and assembled in England.
