over 1 1/16 miles on turf. The colt, purchased for $120,000 at the Ocala Breeders' Sales March Sale, was guided by jockey Flavien Prat to a 1 1/4 length win. Colonel Liam, a multiple grade 1 winner, retired with significant earnings and now stands at Ocala Stud.
