What's Happening?
A cycling enthusiast has successfully converted a trail hardtail mountain bike into a convertible gravel bike. The project involved using lighter and faster mountain bike components and adding a drop handlebar to achieve a versatile bike capable of handling
both mountain and gravel terrains. The conversion aimed to provide the best of both worlds, allowing for quick changes between mountain and gravel modes. The bike, originally a Surly Sorceress, was modified with SRAM Rival AXS levers and shifters, and a 200mm Reverb AXS dropper post, among other components.
