A delegation of six Taiwanese biomedical startups, supported by Startup Island TAIWAN, participated in the BIO International Convention 2026 in San Diego, California. The event, held from June 22 to 25, facilitated over 100 business meetings with global
pharmaceutical companies, investors, and research organizations. The startups, including AB DigiHealth Inc., AcadeMab Biomedical INC., PlasmonicTron Co., Ltd., Taiwan Universe BioMedicine Inc., CancerFree Biotech, and Precisemab Biotech Co., Ltd., showcased innovations in AI-powered precision health, oncology therapeutics, organoid platforms, vaccine development, and next-generation antibody technologies. The convention provided a platform for these companies to explore strategic partnerships, technology commercialization, and international market expansion.
