Bijay Kumar Mohanty has assumed the additional role of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) as of July 1. Mohanty, who is also the Director of Finance at IREDA, brings 27 years of experience in the Indian power
sector. His previous roles include positions at the Central Electricity Supply Company of Odisha Ltd (CESCO) and Grid Corporation of Odisha Ltd (GRIDCO). Mohanty is a fellow member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, highlighting his extensive expertise in finance and project management within the renewable energy sector.
