Governor Mike Braun recently joined Rolls-Royce executives to announce a significant $1 billion investment in the company’s Indiana manufacturing and testing facilities. This decade-long commitment represents the largest investment Rolls-Royce has made
in the United States. The project aims to modernize its Indianapolis campus and expand testing capabilities, including new ground test facilities in Indianapolis and an altitude test facility in West Lafayette. Rolls-Royce currently employs approximately 3,500 individuals in Indianapolis, including a UAW workforce, and supports thousands of additional jobs through its extensive Indiana supply chain. The Indianapolis facility is crucial for both defense and commercial programs, producing more Rolls-Royce defense products than any other location globally.
