Cerity Partners has announced that Mark Andersen has joined their Boston office as a Partner. In this role, Andersen will focus on providing advisory services to high and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families, specifically in the areas of tax,
estate, and other wealth planning strategies. Prior to his move to Cerity Partners, Andersen served as a Senior Wealth Advisor at Wilmington Trust. There, he was responsible for leading an interdisciplinary team that delivered investment management, fiduciary, private banking, planning, and family office services to over 50 client relationships. He also played a key role in new business development. Before his tenure at Wilmington Trust, Andersen practiced as a trusts and estates attorney at Nutter, McClennen & Fish, LLP, in Boston. He is a licensed attorney in Massachusetts. His professional background also includes experience as a financial analyst and auditor at General Electric and Merrill Lynch before attending law school. Andersen holds a B.A. in Economics and Policy Studies with a Finance minor from Syracuse University, graduating magna cum laude, and a J.D. from Boston College Law School.
