The Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food & Markets (VAAFM) has opened the Working Lands Enterprise Initiative (WLEI) Service Provider & Producer Association Grant. This grant is available until November 5, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST. It targets two primary applicant
types: service providers, which are organizations offering business support to agricultural and forestry businesses, and producer associations, which are organizations founded and funded by Vermont businesses involved in agriculture, food, beverage, forest, or fiber products. Service provider grant projects are expected to deliver direct services to support Vermont-based farm and forest businesses, including areas such as business and financial planning, workforce development, and marketing support. Producer association grant projects can also provide these services to their members or focus on the association's governance and operations. An optional webinar was held on October 1 to provide information on project eligibility, application procedures, and how to use the WebGrants portal.
