Ayo Edebiri, known for her Emmy-winning role in 'The Bear,' has been cast as Snoopy in the upcoming Encores! revival of 'You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown' at New York City Center. The production will run from February 3 to February 14, 2027. Edebiri joins
a star-studded cast including David Hyde Pierce as Charlie Brown, Danielle Brooks as Lucy, and Jin Ha as Linus. The musical, based on Charles M. Schulz's Peanuts comic strip, will be directed by Sam Pinkleton with choreography by Sunny Min-Sook Hitt and music direction by Meghann Zervoulis Bate. Edebiri has expressed a long-standing connection to the character of Snoopy, which she will now portray on stage.
