A study by Irish travel insurance company JustCover analyzed over one million online reviews to determine the happiest travel destinations worldwide. The study found that Las Vegas ranked highest among U.S. cities, with other American destinations like
Maui, New York City, Chicago, Austin, and New Orleans also making the top 15. The analysis considered how often travelers expressed joy and happiness in reviews of local attractions, restaurants, and hotels. Tulum, Mexico, was named the happiest destination globally.
