The Levitation music festival has announced that the stoner/doom metal band Sleep will be the secret headliner for the event's closing day on September 13 at Radio/East. The festival, known for its psych rock and beyond lineup, will also feature performances
by reunited sludge metal quartet Kylesa, new-gen shoegazers Her New Knife, and local power trio the Well. Kylesa is set to perform their first Austin show in over a decade on September 12 at Mohawk, while Her New Knife will join the Garden's show at Stubb's on September 11. The Well will support Sleep's performance. Levitation, which previously held a try-out at the Palmer Event Center in 2025, returns to a multi-venue format across the Red River Cultural District. Other acts scheduled to perform include Bikini Kill, American Football, Molchat Doma, Die Spitz, and Peter Hook & the Light.
