The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, has announced the creation of two new named and endowed head coaching positions for its rowing programs. These positions are the Holowesko Family Head Coach of Men's Rowing and the Thomas J. Sullivan
'70 Head Coach of Women's Rowing. These endowments are designed to provide foundational support, elevate the rowing programs, and enhance strategic priorities, ultimately promoting long-term competitive success and well-being. The men's coaching position is named in recognition of the generosity of Mark Holowesko, a former men's rowing captain. These are the second and third head coaching positions to be endowed within the Holy Cross athletic department, following the Richard L. Ahern '51 Director of Cross Country and Track and Field.
